The Manuka Doctor Road to the ASB Classic

The Manuka Doctor Road to the ASB Classic was created in 2023 by the Lavie Tennis Academy and has since become a cornerstone event on the junior tennis calendar for Under-14 players in New Zealand. It brings together the top eight young players from across the country, who qualify through regional events held in Christchurch, Wellington, Mount Maunganui, and Auckland.

These regional events are more than just stepping stones; they offer an incredible opportunity for young Kiwi players to compete at the main event for the title on the Centre Court of the ASB Classic, in front of a packed crowd that is excited to celebrate homebred talent.

Competing in this environment against the best players in the country teaches players essential lessons about the mental and emotional demands of professional competition.

The main event of the Manuka Doctor Road to the ASB Classic 2025 will be held in Auckland from the 8th - 11th January ‘25.

Qualifying Events:

• Christchurch 2nd November ‘24 for qualifying Canterbury and Southern Regions

• Wellington 3rd November ‘24 qualifying for Central Region

• Mount Maunganui 9th November ‘24 qualifying for Waikato-Bays Region

• Auckland 10th November ‘24 for Auckland and Northern Regions
